I got a call from the local school district the other day and after an extended phone tag session, I actually talked to someone today. THe lady I talked to wanted to know if I would be interested in a part time interpreting job! It isn't something they need right now, but she wanted to know if I was interested "if something happens". It almost sounded like there's a situation right now and they aren't sure how it's going to end up, so they needed a back-up plan. So... I'm THRILLED! I would love to go back to interpreting, and part-time would be perfect. Then I wouldn't have to mess with my work schedule at the TV station. I'm hoping that something actually comes of it.
And in other good news... I booked plane tickets to go to the ST:TNG convention in California this weekend. It's going to take all of the extra money I've got (plus a tidge more) but it's going to be sooooo worth it. I can't wait. I will of course have to take tons of pictures!
