The face I show is smooth
but my true face?
Hidden under many layers, is cracked
I feel it shatter to a thousand pieces
They are too many, I can't hold them
Glue oozes around the edges,
but it's slipping
Rolls of tape surround it,
but they're falling
I can no longer hold
