I quit a job after only one day?
The thought of going back there in the morning is just making me cringe. Especially after this horribly long night I'm having.
I'm stuck at work waiting for an edit bay. We have three bays, but two of them are broken. The one that works is being used by people who need it for the morning show. So I'm stuck waiting, and waiting, and waiting. I just need to edit 12 - 30 second spots onto 6 tapes. Take 10 mintues, tops. But I'm stuck waiting. Gack!
I just realized I need to clarify one thing. I love my job, my REAL job. I'm a Director, that's who I am. I'm not some automaton that you can treat like an idiot and demean and expect to work for you! I'm used to being treated like an adult that *gasp* actually knows what they're doing!
Just the fact that I'm having such horrible feelings about this place is making me think that it isn't going to work. I keep trying to tell myself that every hour is another $6 closer to being out of debt, but it isn't working.
My edit bay just cleared out so I'm going to stop ranting now.

No, you're not horrible if you quit after a day. If it's going to make you that miserable, all the money in the world ain't worth it. (feel free to correct my grammar if it will make you feel better!!)
I think I would have bailed at lunch. Tell you what, we can go back and forth. You can go to school for me tues. thurs and I'll go to work for you. They'd never notice!! Ha ha!! :D

Heh heh. Just checking in from school today to see if you went to the evil job or not. ;) I've got some time to kill, so what the heck.
Class with Brado went great, I think he's going to make a rather good prof. Had the class rolling on the floor laughing practically with his sense of humor. Spent 15 mins. after class gossiping with him and Gee about the station. ;)
And of course in my 2nd class I somehow got picked on for something and it came out that I work in TV so the prof wanted to talk to me about that after class (he let us out way early) so now I feel a bit under the gun to do well in his class as I don't want him to think I'm a total knob!! That's North American Indians, and it actually sounds like it's going to be interesting.
I have Chinese culture at 2.....holy GE's batman!!!!!
Anyway, I hope your day is going well, either way you decided to go. I'll be in around 9-ish most likely. I think I'm gonna have to take a nap first though, didn't fall asleep until 7 a.m. AGAIn which is real helpful when you have to get up at 9!!!!!! Grrrrr!!!! (((((HUGS))))
