Hello Unrealistic Version of Television

I'm watching Thursday's "Good Morning Miami" episode. The main character, who is supposed to be a producer/news director type guy, just told an underling that he couldn't time the script until she typed it into the teleprompter. What the!?!?! Then he used some bizarre clicker thing to advance the prompter. Where are these people getting their information? Scripts, writing, and prompters don't work that way!

"Scripts, writing, and prompters don't work that way!"

Try watching any TV or movie that has combat in it. What these guys have the actors do during a gunfight is indescribable!

My husband is a big Vietnam War buff, and when he sees guns or planes, etc... being used that are completely inappropriate for the timeperiod, he gets livid! I always like it when people point out the mistakes.

BTW, I found you through Robyn (as does everyone, huh?! *G*) and I love the sign language graphics. Very clever!
