Guess What!?!

Yep, that's right. The Pathfire isn't working again, oh joy. I've been on hold w/the tech support guy off and on for the past 25 minutes. This machine is where we get all of our video from NewsOne (nat'l internat'l stuff) and it won't let me download any video. I can see it on the 'puter, but I can't get it onto the tape. Grr!!!!

Pathfire is run by an complete and total idiot name Mike Eckert. The investment community has been friedly to this company for reasons which can only be attributed to poor examination of the overall performance of the company by the investors. The atrocities that occur here in the area of personnel management is unmatched. Mike Eckert leads the pack as a complete asshole. He is a bigot and strongly biased against women.

The company continues to underperform, management is constantly rotated out and yet the investors and the board do not recognize the problem lies with Mike Eckert. He does not listen to his team. He is a dictator and only wants to hear what he wants to hear.

For the investors, good luck ever seeing an ROI.
Suckers!!!

For the emoployees, you poor bastards.

Sam Wisniack:

Tom,

I spoke with an employee at Pathfire, who agrees with your assessment of Mike Eckert, however, they went on to say Mr. Eckert is quite talented in the investment community. Gifted in providing the most polished appearance to everyone, while behind the scenes, he's wacko. Also, I was told, the product is not all it's made out to be. Apparently there are very few sound industry practices applied in their development process and primative tools are used in their support services.

I was also told they have lost a large anchor client, because of Mr. Eckerts inability to listen to reason.

To quote the employee I spoke with; " Mr. Eckert should be removed from his post, but the board members are as blind up as he is."

Mike Eckert is only one of many examples of poor managers, allowed to flourish in business because of weak boards.

Sad but true, jerks like Mike Eckert thrive in business.
