Sunidesus Speaks

It was at work. Which isn't all that weird. But once we got into a show it became a nightmare. The worst train wreck possible, over and over and over. Cameras in the wrong places, tapes completely wrong, and a TD that couldn't hit the right buttons to save their lives. Normal people were there, but none of them were the ones doing the actual jobs. Except for audio. Someone normal was doing audio (Quiet Co-Worker) but the rest were new people. But there were extra people (normal co-workers) in the room too. Syn and the Fireworks Fanatic. But they weren't training people because if they had been the things that went wrong wouldn't have been going wrong. They were just there.

The room was slightly rearranged too. The director stuff was all moved to right next to the audio cave facing it. With something like cubicle walls surrounding three sides. I didn't sit there though, because then my back was to the action. I sat in front of where I usually sit at a new desk that was there. It was set up with lots of extras. The Fireworks Fanatic was quite excited about it. I guess he must have been the one that put it together.

Once we got into a show it was a disaster. The wrong tapes ran, we didn't go to camera/tape/graphic/break when we were supposed to. At least the right spots ran (that'd be something that goes wrong on a regular basis in real life! I guess not in my dreams though) Somehow I was back where I normally sit and when TD things started going wrong I ended up reaching over and hitting buttons. Shoving whomever it was TDing out of the way. It was some generic guy. Not a person I ever recall seeing before.

I was yelling and screaming at everyone because it was all going so horribly wrong. At some point whomever the TD was stood up and motioned to the board like, "you want to do it then?" Very defiant and annoyed that I was yelling at him. I remember starting to stand up to take over and punch and call the rest of the show.

At that point I woke up. Very gratefull that that wasn't a real show! Because it was a dredful experience.
