Day Off

It's my day off so of course I'm giving in to the "answer random memes" urge. This one came from James

1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4.
The first book I grabbed didn't have a page 18, so book number 2...
"The electrical impulse, or message, is conducted across the synapse by chemical messengers called neurotransmitters."

2. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
The end table.

3. What is the last thing you watched on TV?
Sue Thomas, F.B.Eye

4. WITHOUT LOOKING, can you guess what the time is?
Ummm..... about 4:15ish?

5. Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?

6. With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?
Television, a/c, Mione, the occasional ice cube clunking in my glass

7. When did you last step outside? What were you doing?
Last night, coming home from work.

8. Before you came to this website, what did you look at?
I would have been on my Portal page since that's where all my links live. Before that it would have been TvTome, I was looking for an episode name.

9. What are you wearing?
This may be TMI, but you asked! Nothin! Well technically I'm wearing undies but that's it.

10. Did you dream last night?
Not that I remember. I rarely do. I've been told that can be a side effect of my meds (Paxil) Just within the last year or so I've been remembering dreams here and there again. That hasn't happened since high school. But not last night. Wow, that was a long-winded answer to a yes or no question!

11. When did you last laugh?
I'm thinking it was at work last night. During the 10. Bearded Dude was directing (not to be confused with The Bearded One he's somebody else) and you're guaranteed at least a couple laughs when he's directing.

12. What is on the walls of the room you are in?
White paint, a painting I bought when I was 16 or 17, a painting that was a present for either h.s. graduation or my 18th birthday I don't remember which, a postage stamp display that was a h.s. graduation present, a painting and a photograph by my Nanny (Dad's mom) a mirror, a candle, and a plumb line from China.

13. Seen anything weird lately?
How about a bird talking to the wall? Although she does that all the time so it's not really that weird any more.

14. What do you think of this quiz?
It's better than your average meme-quiz type thing.

15. What is the last film you saw? In a movie theater?

16. If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?
Pay off relatives houses, buy one for my grandpa, and buy my mom a red Corvette. And pay off my car, heck I'd probably buy a new one with all kinds of bells and whistles.

17. Can you tell something about you that no one knows?
Deep inside I'm afraid I'll end up growing old and dying by myself and lonely.

18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
Make people stop being mean to each other. In every form that mean-ness takes. From kids making fun of other kids to people killing each other. All of it. Gone.

19. Do you like to dance?
Irish, yes. Tap, (the three steps I know) yes. The ballroom type stuff my parents do, yes. Anything else, nope. Dancing at weddings or bars is not something that's fun to me.

20. George Bush: is he a power-crazy nut case or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?
I lean more towards the latter.

21. Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?
Tearza. I'm not Jewish, but I've always loved that name.

22. Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?
It'd have to be Alexander (Alex)

23. Would you ever consider living abroad?
Short term, sure. But nothing permanent.
