Ah, the wonders of the internet...

Anyone else seen the newest Dr. Pepper commercial for their new diet lemon cherry vanilla pepper caffeine something? It's a girl and guy in a restaurant and he's talking, she takes a sip of her pop and this song starts up and now the guy and the waiters and other folks are singing the song and not talking anymore. I was thinking that the song sounded an awful lot like a Muppet monster voice. But I couldn't place it.

A quick trip to Google later and... It's the "Mana Mana" song and it is indeed a Muppets thing. It's on this cd, and was apparently on the Muppet Show. Google even came up with a little wmv file for me...

It's from the Muppet Show, but at the end there appear to be some subtitles in German maybe? I'm not sure. The song itself is just fine though. After seeing that I remembered it from being a kid watching Sesame Street! I remember those pink whatever they are's and the monster running around! And I know I haven't seen it since I was little, but I still remember it. Quite incredible is the brain!

So that's my fun little interesting tidbit of the day.

Just about to head out to the vet to pick up Miss Tali Bug. I'm expecting a groggy, grumpy bunny. But we'll see. Maybe she will have dealt with the whole anesthesia thing just fine.

And I don't mean the show. Although I do love the show!

I can't find my ghillies! Grrr! I went to get them out of my bag on Wednesday at dance and they weren't there. I'm assuming they fell out of my bag somewhere, but they aren't in any of the places where I usually dump my bag. So I have no idea where they are.

Very irritating.

A new pair would be easily 30 bucks, and that would put off the purchasing of heavy shoes even further. Plus, I know as soon as I bought a new pair, I'd find the old ones.

I just might have to *gasp* clean my apartment to try to find them. Unless they fell out at work somewhere. Then who knows where they ended up.

Ack!

Well, meeting at work is over. Dr. appointment is over (went well in case anyone is wondering) and now the Search For The Ghillies^tm is underway.

I actually cleaned my car to make sure they weren't hiding in there somewhere. Now I need to make an attempt at cleaning my apartment to see if that unearths them. And no, none of the zoo-members have been forthcoming as to where they are.

I still miss him terribly.

OK, gotta talk about something else...

The ghillies seem to be a lost cause. Can't find them anywhere, asked at class on Wednesday, nothing. So... if anyone has a pair of size 4 ghillies laying around that they're not using?

There's now a picture in the photoblog and an entry at the Zoo all about the little blue parakeet that has made his way into my bedroom.
