I haven't seen all the horses yet, but I like #12 and #14 so far.
More later!
Scratch that. I like #9 and #12.
There's something seriously wrong with this man.
Yesterday, this guy was walking outside when a mama goose hissed at him (no doubt because he was too close to her babies.) Apparently that was enough to set the guy off and he then attacked the mother goose and stomped all 5 of her babies to death. The mom had to be euthanized today because she was too badly hurt.
I'm not sure that there's words for how incredibly angry that makes me.
And while I was trying to find a link to this story I found another sicko that's been arrested. Sicko #2 trapped Canadian geese (which is illegal in itself) and then hacked off their wings but didn't kill them. Then he let them go on the grounds of the assisted living place he runs. When he felt it was time he'd go and catch the poor mutilated things and kill them and then feed the meat to the residents.
I'm normally a pretty peaceful person, but I almost wish someone would hack off his arms and see how he likes it.
I just don't understand what makes a person think that's an acceptable way to behave.
And taking a page from Lair's book, everyone will be getting extra treats at home tonight. If I'm remembering correctly, he calls it "balancing the kitty karma", so I'll be balancing the birdie karma. (and the bunny karma for good measure)
I have finally looked on-line to find out how the library system works here. Turns out there's a library all of 5 minutes from work! Nifty! And pretty much if you're a resident of the state you can use any of the libraries in RI (and return stuff to other libraries too which is just nifty)
So with that little tidbit of information, I think I might actually go and get myself a library card sometime soon.
Its intermission for Mr. Glover... Wow! Its been an hour already and it feels like 15 minutes. Incredible. And he sang! While he was tapping! And actually sounded quite good. I'm exhausted just watching him!
So far it's been just him with four musicians. Lots of improvy jazz happening. And it seems like it isn't all choreographed. Like they're all making it up as they go, and having a wonderful time. Savion's had a huge grin on his face the whole show so far. And I can't wait for it to start again!
I've been having some minor problems with the commenters on this entry from the photoblog. There've been three or four people that sound like immature middle schoolers that have decided that my fun little "hey look what we did at work" post deserved to be insulted.
So... instead of just deleting the offending comments, I have decided to replace them! Let this serve as fair warning. All future nasty, offensive, and downright mean comments will be replaced with Happy Bunny graphics.
My house, my rules. Deal with it.
