On a completely different subject... what do you folks use for anti-spyware/adware type software? Something's been randomly launching ads on me (not pop-ups, there's something on my system doing it) I've run AdAware a number of times and Spybot Search & Destroy too. And whatever it is is still there.

There's a nifty little Firefox extention that blocks out ads and such, but a blank page still loads. It's quite irritating!

Heard paged at work.

"So & so call... um.... 18... uh, 1800... no... wait... 1833, yeah."

Followed by peals of laughter throughout the building.

This is a direct quote from one of the newscasts tonight:

"...about the indictment of the Vice President's top aide, Karl Rove."

Apparently we're giving people new jobs and handing out indictments in addition to the whole newscast thing.

Ok folks I'm looking for a specific jigsaw puzzle that I did in a schoool club back in middle school. So it's originally from at least 1992 or earlier.

It was a round puzzle of the Aztec calendar. I have a poster that has the exact same design on it. The original art is called the "Aztec Cosmos" by Tomas J. Filsinger.

I've been googling it to death without any luck so I figured I'd write a post about it on the off chance that someone out there in the blogonetosphere knows what I'm talking about!

Argh! I went to watch Lost before I had to come in to work today... my DVR has an hour of black instead of an hour of wonderful Lost goodness.

I'll just have to satisfy myself with the TWoP recap and forums. So I basically know what happened, but I wanted to see it myself darn it! Very irritating. I'm not really missing the AL nonesense, but I really wanted to see the R/B and J/S reunions.

Grrr!

I bought a DVD Recorder/VCR combo about a year ago at Best Buy and since it was kinda spendy I got the extended warranty thing. A couple weeks ago it started actng up (not recognizing discs, green jumpy stuff all over the output) so back to Best Buy I went!

I just called this afternoon to get an update on when it would be fixed and... They can't fix it so I get a new one! Yay!
