I was just watching Conan and they cut in with a news alert thing about the WV miners. And while that subject is very sad and horrible, that's not what this post is about!
How on earth did this Rita Cosby woman get on national television? She sounds horrible! I couldn't listen more than a couple minutes even though I was actually interested in the breaking news thing. I honestly don't understand how she got her first job and then how did she move to a bigger market? It just doesn't make sense!

No doubt! I've always wondered how she's lasted so long in television without anyone ever making her go to a speech therapist!
