Sunidesus Speaks

Well, I don't know who it was, what with them not leaving an e-mail address or anything... but someone answered my television question!

The show I was remembering was Space Rangers! It only made it 6 episodes, but apparently that was enough for it to stick in my brain.

At work, someone turned on the Superbowl, they're up to the half-time show now.

Have the Rolling Stones always sucked this bad?

I'm finding myself not horribly attached to the name "Magic" for the new bun... not sure why, it just isn't quite right.

So I'm doing my wandering around baby name websites trying to find something I like.

So far I've found "Ciara" which is Irish. Not much else is jumping out at me just yet.

Any ideas out there?

So I'm staying up way too late 'cuz I don't have to work tomorrow. I was sitting on my couch working on my scarf and I heard something fall somewhere in the zoo. I looked over and Benjamin was sitting right on the edge of the second story staring over the edge. He had this combination of "what happened/where did it go" on his face. He had managed to drop or push one of the wood toys over the edge of that level of the bunny house. It thunked when it hit the next level down and that's what I heard. He just looked so incredibly perplexed and curious, and downright adorable too of course!

And I think I've decided on a name for the new bun. Dahlia. It's a cool flower and it just seems to work. I was browsing through a list of flowers and that one jumped out at me.

I'm watching the opening ceremonies now instead of when they were actually (ding!) on. It's much easier to fast forward the numerous boring parts when you watch it after it airs.

Of course being the television production geek that I am, I have a gripe! Who told NBC that white font on a yellow background was a good idea? Not only is it ugly as all get out, it's next to impossible to read! White on yellow does not a good super make! Naughty NBC!

Most of the other contributions here are much better, but I figured I'd give it a shot.

I was just browsing the Friday Ark and suddenly had this horrible feeling. I checked the date, and sure enough.

Two years since Dolce left me.

There've been a lot of other critters in my life since then, and I adore each and every one of them. But I think it must be like a first love, that first pet is just special in it's own way. There's still that little Dolce sized hole in my heart that none of the other zoo members quite seem to fill.

The owner of the kitties I was taking care of a few weeks ago just called in to work.

His apartment building is on fire.

He's ok, but he doesn't have anything with him. Not even his coat. And he doesn't know if his cats are ok.

Please keep him, and his kitties, in your prayers.

I'm off today so I told Lonnie I'd be his chauffeur. We tried to go get his car, but they haven't released the scene yet so they won't let him take it.

So we're at WalMart now and he's using the Red Cross debit card to buy some clothes and such things.

The house looks horrid. I didn't get a great look, but it seems gutted.

Ack! Really makes a person thankfull for what they have.
