I'm watching the opening ceremonies now instead of when they were actually (ding!) on. It's much easier to fast forward the numerous boring parts when you watch it after it airs.
Of course being the television production geek that I am, I have a gripe! Who told NBC that white font on a yellow background was a good idea? Not only is it ugly as all get out, it's next to impossible to read! White on yellow does not a good super make! Naughty NBC!

WTF??? For the Olympics you'd think they'd know better!! I wonder if they're still using a Deko. That's what they had for Salt Lake if I remember right!
