I was hunting for a few M.C. Escher images and found this tattoo. Quite impressive!

I just got off the phone with my mom. One of her younger brothers (my Uncle Mark) has died.

Apparently he just went in his sleep.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to feel about this. It's all just so sudden and out of the blue and I'm all messed up. I was planning to do a post about our neighborlady who died over the weekend. But now this. She was one of those people that I just always expected to be there when I went home to visit, but logically I know that she was 82 and well, it happens eventually. But this is my uncle.

Because of goofy weekend train schedules I'm at the airport obcenly early. And I've just arrived at my gate and there's a plane leaving for Mpls right now. Why can't I be on that plane?

For those oof you playing along at home. We've boarded the plane.

Well, we were supposed to be in the air 15 minutes ago... As you can tell from my ability to post, we aren't.

There's a broken switch or something, they're trying to find a replacement and are hopingg too take off around 5 CST... an hour late. Oh well. We'll see when we actually (ding) take off.

Update: it is now 5 'till and they say it'll be 15 minutes. I'll believe it when I see it.

Update #2: It's now 5:30 CST, we're still at the gate. Hopefully we'll get to Boston someday!

Update #3: It is now 6:02... We have de-planned and are waiting for a new plane. They say it'll be 10 minutes. I'm not holding my breath!

Update #4: I'm on the jetway! We're boarding! Woot! (It's 6:28 CST)

Well, I've finally arrived in Boston! Now to catch a train...

Update: It is now 11:50 and I'm on the train to Attleboro. 'Bout time! Hopefully I'll be seeing Keva in about an hour!

It was actually (ding!) sunny out today! You know that big bright thing in the sky? It's kinda yellowish and one shouldn't look directly at it? Yeah, that thing. It showed up today! Amazing!

Kidsilk haze on a longish circular, chevron stripes pattern... light blue & white maybe? Or yellow?, or shades of blue maybe? Yeah I think I like that. Light & dark blue.
