Sunidesus Speaks

I think I might be slightly allergic to mohair. I've knitted with it in the past, this little guy is mohair, and the Mom socks are Mountain Colors Bearfoot which is 25% mohair. When I knit both of those projects I found them a little itchy, but I thought it was just 'cuz mohair tends to be a little bit itchy.

However!

I've been working on a scarf of my own design using the Mountain Colors again and I'm noticing that when I work on it My hands and arms get kinda itchy as does my face. The scarf has this beaded design on it which means I'm going for my crochet hook and adding beads on 3 of every 8 rows. I usually hold the hook in my mouth while I'm on a beading row so that would be allergen transfer to my face. Ack!

I'm going to finish this scarf because I like it and I think it's going to turn out really cool. But I think I'm going to avoid mohair content in the future!

I've been looking for something like this for a while and these seem nice. Bed Risers

They're wooden block things that go underneath the bed frame to raise it a couple inches. I want to be able to stick storage bins under my bed and I can't right now 'cuz none of them fit under the frame.

I haven't bought them yet, I just wanted to hang on to the link.

If anyone has tried to call me on the phone in the last 48 hours... there's something wrong with my phone.

I'm going to go to the T-Mobile store tomorrow and get them to replace my SIM card since that seems to be where the problem lies.

The phone is broken.

So... do I spend about a 100 bucks and get another Sidekick II off ebay? Or do I spend the 250 and get a 3 from TMobile? If I get the one from TMobile it'd be under warranty and if anything went wrong they'd fix it. But it's another 150 bucks.

Ack! I'm not sure which is the better decision!

I'd love a second swift. Yeah, I know I have one already, a second one would make setting up and dying large skeins easier.
Sock yarn is always wonderful, as is dishcloth cotton. (just no mohair!)

Add-on lenses for the camera are fun (they'd need to have 58mm threads to fit on the front of my lens)
